Belgrave Cartel

A rustic italian wine bar, alfresco dining and a hidden gem in Manly. This may be my way of describing Belgrave Cartel. We decided to sit in the alleyway, perfect day for sunshine and breeze in the afternoon. I can imagine how vibrant this place will be at night. I love this interior decor and the fact that this is a little off from the busy Manly center. I feel like you can really chill and take the time to zone out… While initially I was a little disappointed that there weren’t any pasta for lunch (thise are dinner only), but their all day breakfast really surprised me! I am usually a meat lover but I have to admit their vegetarian dishes taste so delicious! Their mushroom panini and rita’s fritta are perfectly seasoned and well balanced. Price is very reasonable with friendly service. It was under $50 for 2 dishes with OJ & tea. It is a little hard to get to Manly at night but I think I need to start thinking when to return to try their dinner menu..!

We had a cocktail class flowed by dinner for a hens party. The team work with me to tailor the event to suit our needs and went way over and above all my expectations. Staff were friendly and seemed to actually love what they’re doing. The cocktails were great and the food was so delicious. I can’t rave enough about how good this place is. The night was so special because of this amazing venue and staff.

Food was epic; ragu pasta and tempura zuchini flower totally first rate. Place is cool; loved the indoor outdoor alley way tables, very private, great for date night. Service was generally great, our waitress was happy and calm, and got everything right, and the young new waiter was funny and helpful. Only issue the whole evening was that we had to wait 25 mins after our booking time to be sat at our table... however it was a date night so we hit the cocktails and had a nice chat 😁 Also the menu on the website is out of date, but dont worry, the in shop menu is better 👍
